ABOUT THIS PROJECT
This is based on an old 1930s-1940s Fellows Gear Cutter machine, basically it's a machine that's used to cut or shape various sized gears for other machines.
I really like the heavy and overbuilt look of these early 20th century machines where every element is built like a tank and made from very heavy steel or cast iron.
I created this model specifically for my course on "Mastering UV Mapping in 3ds Max" which is now available through SymmetricVFX.
